Steve began teaching tennis at 18 years old in Washington, DC. He taught clinics for a former US Open and Wimbledon champion and has studied and played the game of tennis for 35 years. Steve’s Philosophy
Tennis is fun and athletic, and in Boulder it can be played outside most of the year – as long as the courts are dry and the sun is shining!  

Tennis is a great sport for girls and boys – young and old. The rudiments can be taught in a lesson or two, so you can be hitting with friends and against the backboard very soon. Tennis sharpens eye-hand coordination, builds stamina, tests the brain – and its ability to apply strategy to tennis and other endeavors – and increases body strength. It’s a sport people can play casually and competitively for many years to come.

Steve provides one-on-one attention during private lessons and creates a fun and exhilarating environment during group lessons. Get some friends to sign up as a group and enjoy the physical and social interaction. Lessons move fast and you’ll hit a lot of balls. All you have to bring is your racquet and water!

** Steve can also assess your needs and help select the right tennis racquet for you.

• Hours: From morning till dark, year-round
• Taught on public courts all over Boulder
• Steve provides diagrams and homework (for those who wish to excel)
• Private Lessons: $45 (one class) $42 (for a pack of 5 or more)
